Reflective Conversations: Feedback & Complaints Workshop

Feedback and Complaints are central to the current Aged Care Quality Standards, the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and the new Aged Care Act 2024. This interactive workshop will explore the importance of inclusive feedback systems that empower consumers, protect workers, and drive continuous improvement.

During this workshop we will use the Exploring Diversity & Wellness Toolkit to guide reflective conversations about your organisation’s current feedback and complaints practices.

This workshop will:

- Use case studies to share practical strategies and explore how inclusive feedback systems foster transparency, trust, and continuous improvement.

- Highlight the importance of seeking feedback and implementing effective complaints mechanism to evaluate and improve service delivery.

- Explore inclusive approaches to supporting diverse and vulnerable consumers in providing feedback and making complaints.

- Provide an opportunity to self-reflect on how your organisation aligns with the Aged Care Quality Standards and the Aged Care Act in relation to feedback and complaints.

- Offer an opportunity to transform your reflections into meaningful action.
