Bebie’s Story

Bebie’s Story of lived experience highlights the importance of providing safe and appropriate services to culturally and linguistically diverse consumers within the aged community. It demonstrates to all Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) Service Providers the need to listen to a consumer’s story, be supportive of their individual journey and consider some of the challenges they may face in accessing and engaging aged care services.

Watch Bebie’s story then use the accompanying guide to consider inclusive service principles and strengthen consumer-centred care in relation to diversity and inclusion.
